CBT
CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. CBT is perhaps the most common type of structured talking therapy in clinical psychology. It is used to treat a wide range of mental and emotional challenges.
CBT is based on the belief that how we feel, think and behave are closely related. CBT helps us become aware of problematic or negative thought processes that might be causing problems in our lives or relationships and helps us develop better skills for tackling situations. All Bridge psychologists have CBT skills.
From session to session, clinical psychologists may use tests and questionnaires to chart our feelings and measure progress.
